Zeus is a 2-year-old, 10lb. Yorkie Maltese mix.
Zeus arrived at his foster home very under-socialized and timid. He is slowing working on coming out of his shell and learning to trust people through kindness and patience. Zeus is doing so well and is still learning his house manners, but his foster mom says he's really smart and is picking up on training words quickly. He absolutely loves other dogs, so he'd need a home with another dog that he can romp around with and help his confidence grow. Zeus needs a quiet home, he's scared of loud noises and quick sudden movements, so he'd do best with older children so that he doesn't get too scared and also needs a fenced in yard so that he can freely run around while he learns his leash manners. Once he comes out of his shell, he would love a family who is active and wants to help him burn off all that playful energy that he has! Zeus is becoming so sweet, and he will blossom into the most amazing companion with a little time, patience and love. If you think you have the love in your heart for Zeus, apply today!
