***Urgent, needs foster or adopter*** Texas needs A foster or adopter ASAP! was rescued by us on his kill date. He is a gentle and goofy, 45-pound, hound, typical of the breed. He is heartworm positive but we are paying for the two-shot treatment, no longer a deal breaker at all. Texas is emaciated but you can see how handsome he will be when he fattens up. Wonderful with other dogs and with people. He likes being outside so he must have a fenced yard until he learns how wonderful it is to be inside a home. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
