Sophie is an eight-year-old, sixty-eight-pound, Golden Retriever. Sophie is good with mature kids ten and over, other dogs, and with cats. Sophie is loving and very protective over her people. She's deeply bonded and attached to her brother Russell so they must be kept together. Sophie scares easily and takes time to warm up to new people and environments. Sophie and Russell have experienced trauma in their past, so they require a quiet understanding, patient, and routine home. Sophie is a couch potato and sleeps all day and all night but still gets excited to explore the backyard at potty time. Sophie is not interested in toys. A mature calm home would be best for both Sophie and Russell.
