Simon is a 3 year old, 9 pound Chihuahua Miniature Pinscher mix
An adorable little guy with a funny underbite, Simon would be a great dog for a first time pet owner. He is immediately very loving towards women, but takes a minute to warm up to men. A very easy low key lap dog who loves to cuddle and loves to share your bed with you. Simon is on the lazy side but is well mannered, house trained, and does not need to be crated when you leave the house. Simon does need some leash training and he does not do well with steps (needs to be carried up or down), so a one level house would be best. Simon gets along with male and female dogs. He also loves cats, in fact he snuggles up to his foster mom's cat. His foster writes, "Simon will wander around the house picking up and playing with toys especially his Teddy Bear. He will follow the cat around but mostly he just wants to lay on the sofa or bed and cuddle and nap. As soon as you look away from him he’s sleeping again." Simon loves chicken nuggets and Starbucks pup cups. He also likes to dress up! His foster says, "Any time I sit down for more than two minutes, he’s climbing in my lap to cuddle and go to sleep. He’s literally the perfect lap dog very quiet and sweet."
