Shasta is a 1-year-old, 11lb Chihuahua mix.
Shasta did an amazing job raising her puppies but now it's her time to be loved! She is a gentle girl who likes to play sometimes but mostly just wants to chill out and be with her family. While she hasn't been tested with children, her foster mom thinks she will do just fine with them due to her calm and sweet nature. Shasta is heartworm positive but she's currently being treated for it and doing great. She is fully vetted, housebroken and crate trained. Shasta deserves her forever family and if you think you could be that, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org.
Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
