Meet Scout, a bright and affectionate 1.5-year-old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a spring in his step. Scout is an independent little pup who enjoys being around people and thrives on companionship. While he’s still working on mastering his potty training, he has excellent house manners and is respectful of everyone and everything!
Scout is sweet-natured and enjoys being petted, he doesn't mind being held and his favorite spot in the house is either your lap or right next to you lavishing in pets and affection! He has a balanced energy level; he’s not hyper but also not one to lounge all day. He loves his daily walks and is good on a leash, he even has the cutest bounce when he's excited (straight up and down like he's on a pogo stick!) He doesn't jump on people, but rather bounces and dances when he's happy to see you! He’s eager to learn, and he'd love to find someone to guide him through basic commands. He's such a smart little boy!
While Scout prefers human company over doggy playdates, he’s mildly curious about cats. He’s not nervous, anxious, or aggressive—just a lively pup who deserves a family that appreciates him and gives him lots of attention and love (which he will give back tenfold!).
