Rocky's owner passed away and the owners family relinquished Rocky to us. When we picked Rocky up it was clear he had not been attended to in some time. He was weak and could barely walk. He had an ear issue, skin issues, needed a dental, and a nail clipping, and had gunky eyes. Rocky simply felt terrible and was scared. All of Rocky's immediate issues are resolved or still under a doctor's care. Unfortunately, Rocky is not adoptable due to his age and ongoing medical needs.

Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
