I've found my furever family!

We're happy to tell you that Queenie has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Queenie is a four-year-old, Cattle Dog and Corgi mix, weighing thirty-five pounds. Queenie is good with all kids, most dogs, and all cats. Queenie is losing her home because of severe illness in the family. Queenie is a wonderful dog who absolutely loves being around children. She is fine with other dogs as long as they are not hyperactive and don't pressure Queenie to play when she isn't interested. No matter the situation Queenie is never aggressive.” Her owner who is heartbroken describes her as a “dream of a dog, no problems at all. She’s been a wonderful companion. Queenie is well mannered in the house, housetrained and leash trained. She is fully vetted, very healthy and on heartworm prevention year-round. Queenie will be a wonderful dog for a family, or for someone who wants a companion dog. Queenie seems to be a classic cattle dog, but has short legs, which is why we believe she is a corgi mix. Queenie is very smart, basks in attention, likes to play tug and chase a ball, and would love to sit in your lap. She is a very kissy gal who just wants to be close to you. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
