Poppy Pie is a 14 year old, 14 lb. Terrier mix.
Poppy Pie spent her whole life outside before coming into rescue. Since being in her foster home, she has really warmed up and enjoys being around her humans and getting lots of pets. She will reward you with lots of kisses and cuddles too! Poppy Pie is learning all the great things about being a beloved member of the family. She likes to explore her fenced in yard and has starting playing with some of the foster dogs in her home. She can be dog selective, so proper introductions are essential for her success. She will need an adult only home that is calm so she can feel secure and comfortable (kids can be a little scary sometimes!). Poppy Pie doesn't love being crated and is still learning how to use a leash. She is excelling with her potty-training and will need a patient home that can continue to work with her on this. While Poppy Pie has come out of her shell more and more each day, she doesn't love to share and would do best as an only pet (after a tough life, can you blame her for not wanting to share food or treats?) Poppy Pie deserves all the love and she will absolutely give it right back to you tenfold! If you're looking for a loving an affectionate little lap dog, apply to meet Poppy Pie today!
