Ozzy (black dachshund), age 6, 12 pounds. dachshund. bonded with Poppy, see pic. Poppy is 7 years old, and 9 pounds/ Ozzy and Poppy, an adorable deeply bonded pair, are great with dogs, cats and even kids although we recommend kids over 10 who respect dogs. They are housetrained, do not have to be crated when you are not home since they are well behaved and seem to have no bad habits! They are submissive with other dogs. Ozzy has seizures but this is successfully controlled with medication. Their foster writes "Ozzy is more outgoing and likes to explore with nose to the ground. A little more stubborn on a leash. Poppy loves to be by her person and snuggle with Ozzy but overall she prefers her human.
