Pooh Bear came into rescue at death’s door. He was in very poor physical condition and completely shut down emotionally. Through the incredible devotion, patience, and love of his foster family, Pooh Bear was quite literally brought back to life.
Since entering care, Pooh Bear has undergone significant medical treatment, including the removal of a large mass from his neck and extensive dental surgery, leaving him with just two molars. With consistent care and a calm, nurturing environment, he has made remarkable progress both physically and emotionally.
Because of the stability he has found and the medical monitoring he continues to need, we felt it was in Pooh Bear’s best interest to remain in our Hospice and Haven program. Staying with his forever foster family allows him to feel emotionally secure while ensuring his health can be closely watched and supported.
