Phoenix (aka Phee) is a 1 year old, 27 Lb. German Shepherd Mix
Phoenix hasn't had the easiest start in life. We rescued her from the shelter with a terrible skin condition. After initial testing, the vet thinks it may be some kind of autoimmune issue. She is being treated w/ steriods, antibiotics and medicated shampoo. It's so exciting to see her skin pigment and fur slowly coming back! We aren't sure if it will all come back, but she's beautiful even if it doesn't! Despite her condition, she is the best girl! She does pretty well in a crate , she is leash trained and almost 100% potty trained! Her foster says, "she walks like softened butter on a leash." She also does well having full roam of the house and loves to lounge around on the bed. Phee is learning to play with her foster siblings and the resident cat! She enjoys stealing slippers and gets so full of joy, she gets the zoomies!
