I've found my furever family!

We're happy to tell you that Oscar Myer has a new furever home.

This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog’s description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media.

A senior who loves to cuddle and snuggle, Oscar Meyer will “ shadow” you since he loves attention and affection. Sadly Oscar lost his home when his owner lost hers. He was very loved, and you can tell. This Senior gentleman would do well in a home with smaller dogs. He can be around bigger dogs but sometimes gets stepped on by them which he is not too fond of. Oscar has some cataracts but that’s age! He is otherwise healthy but feeling the sadness of losing his person. Oscar will need a kind patient home so he can adjust to his new life. His foster writes, “Loves people, treats and being on the couch. Very easy dog, likes to be with his people. Housetraining is excellent, sleeps quietly in crate all night but doesn’t need a crate during the day if you are not home. Good companion dog, rides well in car. All around great dog! “

Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed assessments are based on visual appearances.
