Oscar is an eight-year-old eight pound, Pomeranian and Papillon mix. Oscar has a cute little hunched back and has had many of his teeth removed. He's still a handsome personable little guy who wants only to be close to his person. He enjoys cozying up to you, he is house trained, yet he has had some accidents in the house, so his foster has him wear belly bands we believe this is transitional. Oscar can be left alone when you are not home, or he can be crated. He is low key and tends to guard his person, he can be protective of his space and his watchfulness over his person, and this can cause him to be snippy with other dogs. Because of this Oscar would be best as an only dog. He enjoys being pet and brushed, and overall pampered by his person. He loves to be near his person and will be a little shadow. Oscar does need continued leash training. He would do best in a low-key adult home with someone who is home and wants a furry best friend. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed assessments are based on visual appearances.
