Olive Oyl takes her time to trust and can get very anxious in new situations. Her foster writes: "Olive is really sweet and loves cuddling once she gets to know you. She must have a calm household and is cautious until she gets to know you. She clearly was not well cared for before and will flourish with love and care." Getting to that point of comfort takes a while, with slow introductions and giving her personal space. A single mature female household would do best with Olive who has separation issues and can food and resource guard. She needs someone who understands this behavior and can give Olive space and time. Definitely no children, and she would be best as an only dog since she is dog selective. This senior lady would blossom in a quiet mature household that has a routine and few comings and goings. Olive is house trained, low energy and good on a leash. Once we receive your application we can put you in touch with her foster mom for more details. Please give this older lady a chance.
