Carter came into rescue from the shelter weighing thirty-three pounds, Carter now weighs a healthy fifty-eight pounds. Carter quickly showed his foster he loves the company of other dogs. However, Carter is too selective When it comes to the humans he wants around or near him. We don't know why Carter is so people selective, and we do know he was on his own or not fed long enough to be almost half his normal weight when he entered the shelter. But, because he is people selective for the safety of all involved, including Carter he is not adoptable. Carter does enjoy the company of his foster family and he loves to hang out with his foster Mom and Dad and his three dog siblings.
