Luna Mae is a nine pound, two-year-old Chihuahua mix. Luna Mae is good with dogs, kids over age ten, and she has not been tested with cats. Luna Mae was rescued from the side of a road and put into an emergency temporary foster home so we could learn more about her personality. Luna Mae loves playing with dogs of all sizes, is well mannered and house trained and typically only barks only when there’s a knock on the door or when a stranger enters the house, but she does settle down fast! Luna Mae is a major cuddler, a healthy sweet companion. Luna Mae usually has a big grin on her face. Luna Mae will be a commitment upwards of 12 years, so consider your life situation before applying. Apply on CrisisDogsNC.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs.
