A typical sweet natured hound is good with other dogs, affectionate, gentle, would love a fenced yard, is likely not good with cats, and would do well with kids ten and over. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs.
