Jackie Blue, a very special foster or adopter needed for senior Jackie Blue. He has survived a hoarder house fire, a month in a kennel and then in a foster home where he started after months to accept affection and not shrink in fear. His foster could not keep him and so beautiful 70 pound, nine-year-old golden lab Jackie Blue needs someone to step to give him a quiet calm life. He needs a fenced yard with a dog door since he is scared of the leash. No aggression at all, he needs a nurturing home that will accept that he has been through a lot of trauma and give him time and space to recover. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
