Espresso Bean is an eight-month-old, twenty-six-pound, Black Labrador Retriever mix. Espresso Bean is good with other dogs, good with mature kids ten and over, and good with cats. This gorgeous young dog needs someone who loves Labrador Retrievers and young dogs and likes to train them from the start and will work with Espresso Bean. He is full of energy, absolutely loves people, a true Labrador Retriever trait, but he has no training and needs guidance and reassurance. We recently rescued Espresso Bean, so he is a "work in progress' at his foster home. His foster writes, “An active puppy needs an active adopter, a yard and a resident dog buddy to play with. He would be a great running partner. Espresso is very smart and learns fast. We are working on leash training. No doubt this boy is smart, young and with training (we will offer a free training session to adopter) he will be an amazing companion. His foster writes, " Espresso is a very loving boy & loves people! He is a scared boy, not aggressive at all." He needs an experienced owner who will give him structure and stability so he can come into his own. He will likely mature to forty-five-pounds. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org.
