Ernest is a fourteen pound, sixteen-year-old, Shih Tzu. When we rescued Ernest from the kill shelter, we immediately took him to the vet. The vet noted Ernest has the following issues, conjunctivitis, he's blind, he's deaf, he has dermatitis, dental disease, ear infection, otitis, Osteoarthritis, and a heart murmur. We don't know Ernest's past, but we can guess he has been neglected, at least in the last years, and then discarded in the shelter when he was most vulnerable. Ernest will be loved and cared for the last days of his life.
