An energetic attention-grabber this 12 pound, two year old is learning to play with other dogs in foster and loves it. Dodger is an extremely friendly and expressive pup who let's you know what he wants and needs. His foster writes, “Dodger can be very goofy and somehow can jump straight into the air, about 3 feet high! So any fence needs to be high!
Dodger also likes to sit up to get a view of what someone is doing and to get noticed and pet. “ This exuberant boy is house-trained ( he will bark and whine to go outside) and leash trained. He will complain when put into a crate then eventually settle in. Dodger prefers to be at the center of attention and activity, he is not a dog to be left alone for hours. He loves car rides (sitting on the passenger’s lap) and belly rubs and will let you know when he needs more by an insistent batting of his paws! He can guard food so no small kids. His foster says, “Dodger is a sweetheart and a cuddlebug. One of his favorites things to do is lean into your chest then roll over onto his side to be cradled (like a baby) and get his chest/belly rubbed. A really nice little dog!"
