Dasher is approximately five pounds and eight weeks old. Dasher is a puppy with a lot of spunk! Dasher is an American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever mix. We believe Dasher was the runt of the litter due to his small size; and he is last to be weaned from his mom. Dasher is a resilient guy full of life, loves toys, food puzzles, ropes and Kong's. This is a very smart little guy who needs to be engaged and enjoys learning and wrestling with dog buddies in his foster home. Dasher will likely be as much as fifty pounds full grown, based on the weight of his mom. Dasher is learning potty training, commands, and is happy to curl up in your lap after a good romp. Dasher is looking for a fifteen-year commitment so consider your life situation before applying. No first-time dog owners. Prefer Staffordshire experience. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
