Cookie is a 10 month old, 16 pound dachshund lab mix.
Cookie is an adorable lab looking but with the short dachshund legs. We don't expect her to get very big. She is a very playful pup who likes a good tug-of-war game with another dog or person. Her foster writes, "Cookie loves everyone! She is very loving and has no aggression!" Cookie does need leash training since when she passes dogs she barks wanting to play with dogs of all sizes; nothing intimidates her but she is submissive when playing. She is not an apartment dog since she will bark. An easy pup but like all pups needs attention and lots of playtime. Her foster writes, "Cookie enjoys sleeping with someone in the bed. She can be crated and does not have separation anxiety but definitely does not like to be away from her family. She will jump a baby gate to be close to you." Cookie is housetrained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly all night. A perfect family dog for a family willing to make a lifetime commitment.
