Chanel Needs A Foster or Adopter
Chanel is a one-year-old, 48-pound, Coonhound/Chow mix.
Chanel's DNA results reveal she's primarily a blend of Redbone Coonhound and Chow. Chanel is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and on monthly prevention. Chanel is cat-friendly with a proper introduction and is the epitome of sweetness, enjoying belly rubs and lounging by your side. Chanel might be the closest thing you will find to a perfect dog. She is house trained, leash trained, crate trained, happy, and eager to please. She is a little shy and cautious at first, but she adjusts to new places and people quickly. She has very good manners both around the house and on walks. She is happy to spend some time in the crate during the day. On the greenway she passes other dogs and people without any fear or aggression. She is a hound though, so keep her secure because she does like to hunt rabbits! When it is time to relax, Chanel loves any kind of rubbing you are willing to provide, and she is very sweet requesting more as soon as your hand stops moving. At nighttime, after a late outside break, she goes to bed and stays quiet all night long in her crate. In the morning she’s excited to see you and ready to do it all again. She's a wonderful girl! An ideal family dog!
