We rescued Buster Brown who had a broken Pelvis and a crushed Sacrum. Surgery risked paralysis so we opted to place Buster Brown into a stable dedicated foster home for long term bedrest. Buster Brown is progressing splendidly, enjoying playing with his foster buddies and is ready for his forever family. Buster Brown is such a good boy. He gets along with dogs of all ages and will do best with an at-home buddy. On his wish list: a fenced yard where he can run, play, lay in the sunshine and explore, and a lot of durable toys. Mature kids ten and over are fine and a companion dog(s) is recommended. He is house trained, well mannered, affectionate and low key. Calm home preferred. "He walks well on a leash and needs walks to keep his legs strong." This gorgeous pup has a long healthy life ahead so please consider your life circumstances and this long-term commitment prior to applying to adopt. We follow up regularly on all adoptions. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required.
