Blake is a 4 year old Shih Tzu who weighs about 15 pounds
A perky friendly little Shih Tzu mix, Blake was abused by a man so he prefers women; his fear of men may abate when he feels safe. He will need some time to warm up to new people and places. He would probably do best in a home with no kids, or older more considerate kids. His foster says, “He is very playful and appreciative of someone showing him love. He can’t get close enough.” Blake is dog selective and needs slow, proper introductions with any new dog. He is mostly housetrained, good on a leash and loves socializing. He likes to sleep next to your head and sit with you at the kitchen table. Blake can be very vocal in expressing his happiness and gratitude, so he is not an apartment dog. An absolutely adorable little dog for anyone who loves this cheerful breed.
