Beya is a 2 year old, 15 lb. Maltese/Poodle mix.
Beya had a very rough start in life and is now learning to trust people and how to be a dog. This sweet girl just needs a lot of time and patience to come out of her shell and trust again. But she is well worth the wait! Once comfortable, Beya will cuddle up next to you and is so snuggly - it's precious to watch! Because of her past, she is still learning a lot of new things like potty-training, how to use a crate, and that leashes aren't so scary. For now, she would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where she can be safe off-leash. Beya will need a calm home where she can be the queen of the castle! She isn't a fan of other animals and can be fearful of new situations. She deserves to have her human family all to herself as she adjusts to life as a beloved member of the family! Beya does have a lot of energy when she gets comfortable and loves to run around and play in her yard. She is still learning about toys - but we think she may love them once she figures them out! Beya can't wait to find her happily ever after and grow up with a family who will cherish her and bring out the best in her!
