This puppy was likely abused by a man and so prefers females but a kind man with a treat can convince Benny it is safe to approach! An adorable, healthy little Maltese mix, Benny is in the process of house training. He chases wildlife aggressively and is, his foster says, "not quick to come back" so he requires a secure fenced yard where he is also not left alone (at his small size he can himself be prey to birds). Benny likes dog company except when he is eating and needs to be fed separately. He does need some leash training but on walks is excited to greet other dogs and say hello. Benny is then happy to return home and sit on your lap and cuddle. He is a picky eater and does not like to be clipped but enjoys baths and brushing, he gets scared, so he needs someone who will earn his trust and be patient. A happy and healthy little pup looking for a lifetime commitment.
