Aurora is a 4-year-old, 9lb brown and white Chihuahua mix.
Aurora has had a rough start, and she’s looking for someone who will give her patience, kindness, and love. She is fearful of people and will take time to trust but she quickly falls in with a pack so her best home would need at least one playful dog to help her thrive. Aurora is not a dog who enjoys being touched but she does love to lay near her people and cuddle in their laps and will follow them around the house. She also loves to lay near her person at bedtime. She enjoys zoomies in a fenced yard, and she enjoys going on walks though she may bark at strangers. She rides well in a vehicle and would make a great travel companion. She loves lying in the sunshine, almost as much as she loves treats. She has not shown much interest in toys but on occasion will surprise her foster mom with a little toy play. Aurora comes when called, walks well on a leash and is getting good with sit. She is potty-trained but has to take medication for incontinence, which has been very successful. She will take the medication for life but it is relatively inexpensive. If you are looking for a loyal drama queen who will love you from afar, she is your girl.
