Ann is a sixty-four-pound Tree Walker Coonhound. Ann is one years old; spayed and fully vetted. Ann is good with other dogs, is gorgeous, and was found wandering the streets by a good citizen who took her in temporarily. CrisisDogsNC is intervening so this beauty does not end up at a kill shelter. Ann is a big gal, heartworm negative, and looks like she's always smiling. Ann is housetrained, well mannered, and requires an adopter with a fenced yard so she can explore with her nose. Ann is very affectionate and likes attention, follows direction most of the time, so she has great potential. Ann needs to be adopted by someone who can patiently work with her. Ann would do best in a home with a dog playmate, a typical Tree Walker who likes to be close with her buddies. Please be aware Hounds require daily exercise and mental stimulation. A lovely companion for anyone who knows and loves the loyalty and goofy nature of Tree Walker Coonhounds. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
