Andy is five-month-old, approximately fifteen-pound, pure Border Collie. Andy is great with other dogs, with cats, and with mature kids ten and over. Andy was found living in a warehouse, emaciated. Andy is utterly adorable, cuddly, and sociable. Andy will need to be housetrained. We will fully vet and cover the spay/neuter per our contract. Border Collies are high energy so training and a yard will be required. If you love the loyalty and intelligence of Border Collies and can provide the mental stimulation required to help him thrive this puppy is for you. To adopt you need to show that you have experience with the border collie breed. Puppies can live for ten to fifteen years. Please consider your future plans prior to applying to adopt. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
