Amy is 8 years old and about 12 lbs.
This little gal is well-mannered in the house, smiley and playful with other dogs! She hasn't been cat tested and prefers a home with adults only. Amy is good on a leash, easy going and low key. She really would love to find a family who is home a lot, because she gets a little anxious and sad being left alone. And she especially would love a doggie sibling or two as well! Amy loves both of her foster parents but she's a total "Daddy's Girl" and loves her foster dad, following him around everywhere. She really hopes to find a forever home with another father figure she can dote on! Amy is less of a lap dog, but would love to sit next to you on the couch and be around you all the time. She will also "tell" you when she's hungry and ready for breakfast or dinner with her cute little bark! Her foster says, " She is quite laid back but enjoys going for daily walks. She is not overly affectionate and doesn’t like to be held much. But she will follow you around like a shadow and will lay near you at all times. " Amy is housetrained and sleeps nicely in her dog bed at night. Amy also has a very manageable condition called a collapsed trachea. To help her feel comfortable, it's best that she is walked on a harness, rather than a collar and leash. Never fear, her collapsed trachea does not get her down or affect her quality of life! She is looking forward to many more years in her forever home!
