Coyote Joe is a 3-year-old, 13 lb. Chihuahua mix.
Hey Y’all, I’m Coyote Joe, but most people just call me Joe. Yeah, yeah, I’m know I’m adorable and have the cutest ears, but I’m definitely more than just another pretty face. I’ve got depth behind these chocolate, brown eyes. Some people say I have a Neapolitan complex and can be your stereotypical Chihuahua, but I say I just know what I want and how I want it, and I’m very confident in myself. I’ve had a rough past and now have some trust issues, but if you give me some space and time, I’ll realize you’re good people and promise to come around. Just ignore me and give me my space for a few days and I’ll eventually crave your attention! When you’ve won me over, I’ll make sure to shower you in cuddles and kisses. I’ll also make sure you know that you’re my favorite by nuzzling into you, following you everywhere (even to the bathroom), and fending off other pets or people if I’m in your lap. Don’t get me wrong, I love other dogs and even cats, but when I’m with you, I just want my turn to be the favorite! I absolutely love laps and will claim yours for sure. Like to play? Me too! Let’s play ball, squeak some toys together, and run around the yard! I also can be a little mouthy when I play, so let’s make sure you’re into that too. Another fun pastime of mine is to explore, I also find a lot of great treasures around the house and squirrel them away in my bed. My foster mom thinks I’m a kleptomaniac, but sometimes a guy just needs an errant sock, a discarded tissue, or even a stylish shoe (just one though)! But remember, I’m cute, so you have to forgive me!
So now that you know all the amazing things about me, feel free to send in your adoption application so I can see if we are a match! Oh, my foster mom also told me to tell you that I’m potty-trained, can be left alone in a small room or crate while you’re gone, and I’m great on a leash! Boom - Mic drop! What more can you possibly want?
