Girl is a 9 year old, 20 lb. Jack Russell Terrier Mix
Girl is a very special sweetheart. She came to the rescue scared and in a lot of pain from her previous life. Through the love and care of her foster mom and her vet, Girl is now on an easy pain management regimen for her neck and back and it has made a world of difference! She has blossomed into a happy little lady who loves snuggling up for naps and going for car rides and neighborhood walks. Girl is learning all about the good life from her foster mom and her fur-siblings. She loves being around other small dogs and while she isn't as playful, she likes their company for snuggling. She's not a total couch potato though - she does like going out in her yard and sniffing everything. She absolutely loves going on car rides and being a valued member of the family! After a big day of walks and sniffing, Girl is ready to curl up in bed with her foster mom and even knows how to use the doggy stairs to get up on the bed! She is so well behaved and very polite. She has not had one accident in the house since coming to her foster home and can be left out in the house when her foster family has to leave. Girl does love her food though and while she eats with her doggie siblings, she doesn't like it if they try to steal a bite. She just wants to eat in peace. She loves all people and has never barked at anyone. She can be a little shy at first, but when she warms up, it's all worth the wait! She would be fine in a home with older, considerate kids who understand how to handle her since she will be dealing with neck and back pain for the rest of her life. Girl hopes that her forever family comes for her soon because even though she may need to be on pain medications, she is ready to be a part of a family and shower them with so much love!
