Jaxter is 3 years old and 31 lbs.
Jaxter is an extremely lovable Poodle mix. He is a pro at snuggling, especially at bedtime when he jumps on my bed, rolls over, and knows he's going to get several minutes of uninterrupted belly and chin rubs! Jaxter is completely potty trained, and when he comes in, he goes straight to the counter where his cookie jar is and sits patiently for his treat! Jaxter loves car rides and walks well on a leash. Jaxter would LOVE a large fenced yard where he can run free to get all his energy out. He does great at the groomer and even allows them to file his nails with a dremmel-like tool. He is great around high-school aged kids and has not yet been tested on younger kids. He is great with his small, senior chihuahua "brother." He hasn't been tested with large dogs yet, but I feel he'll do fine because he really, really wants to play! His foster mom is working on training him not to jump on people when they walk through the door. He's so excited to see people, and it's just hard for him to settle down, but he is very smart, and he's catching on quickly. Jaxter's foster mom says he has been an absolute joy!
