Greta is a 7-year-old Miniature Pinscher who is part of our Hospice & Haven program due to a seizure disorder that requires ongoing medical management. She is currently maintained on Keppra (levetiracetam), an anticonvulsant medication used to help control seizures.
Because of her condition, Greta can become easily confused, particularly during or following seizure activity. After a previous adoption did not work out, it became clear that Greta’s well-being depends on consistency, routine, and a familiar environment.
Greta remains with her experienced foster family, where she has developed a strong bond with her foster dad. Her foster family has experience caring for dogs with medical needs and is able to manage her medication, monitor her condition, and provide the calm, stable home she needs.
Through our Hospice & Haven program, Greta is safe, supported, and surrounded by understanding care. Her needs are met daily, and she is able to live comfortably with the consistency and compassion she deserves.
