Marie is a 6 yr old 11 lbs Poodle Mix.
Marie has had a tough beginning, but she is a remarkably sweet girl when given the time she needs. She's fully crate trained, house trained, and even knows how to use pee pads. Marie thrives on attention and feels secure when she receives reassurance from her person. She knows some commands and enjoys playing fetch, making her a fun and interactive companion. She thrives in a fenced backyard.
She is incredibly sweet and very smart. Marie could do well as an only pet or with a confident, playful sibling. Given her abusive past, it's important to introduce her slowly and let her come to you in her own time as she learns to trust and seek affection. An experienced adopter would be best. She does well when she has boundaries and knows what is expected. Marie is eager for love and would make an amazing companion for the right person.
