Jack is a 7-year-old, 15lb tan Chihuahua mix.
Jack takes some time to come out of his shell, but once he warms up all he wants is to have his chin rubbed and lay with his person. Jack is looking for someone who would be able to have the time and patience to help him feel safe and loved. Jack prefers dogs that aren't too rough, and so he can be dog selective because he gets scared. He's also a little scared of cats, so he would need a cat that can be respectful of his boundaries. When Jack starts to feel safe, he will give you kisses, rub all over you and want to rest his head on your lap. Jack loves to be outside, so he'd love his own fenced in yard to run around in. Jack likes kids, but since he can get scared easily he'd need a child who can be patient and gentle with him. He is completely housebroken and fully vetted, and we're working on leash training. If you think you can make this sweet boy feel safe and give him his forever home, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org.
