Luna is a 3 year old 13 pound Pekingese Dachshund mix
Good with dogs her size prefers women fully vetted. Little Luna is a charming lap dog, a real charmer who needs someone at home, ideally a retired lady, since she absolutely adores older women! Luna was likely abused by a man and she bonds very deeply with women, so when you leave, she gets quite upset and will bark; she is therefore not an apartment dog. Another small dog at home would make her very happy since she grew up with a small dog, and was separated when she was brought to the shelter. Her foster writes, “ Luna would be very happy with a senior lady or someone who works from home and who would be consistent in helping her overcome her separation anxiety and be consistent throughout the day. Her home should not have many people coming and going since that makes her nervous and she becomes protective of the home. She's fantastic with little dogs but would be good on her own too. I just think a dog companion might help her anxiety.”
