Sky is a 2 year old , 4 pound Yorkie. Sky is bonded with Shellie

This adorable little has not had much socialization and he is still scared of people but does well with other dogs, especially female dogs. He ignores cats. Sky is easy going by temperament, loves running around the yard with his litter mates ; he must have a secure fenced yard since he is an escape artist or an adult household that is aware of his tendency to escape. Sky doesn’t like to be confined in a crate but will go inside if you leave the door open so he can come and go as he pleases. Kids would be too scary for him, and they can leave a door or gate open through which he will disappear. He does need leash training. As for housetraining, Sky will go outside and also on pee pads. His foster writes, "Sky is very timid. Loud noises make him jump. He eats very slowly and observes his surroundings to make sure they are safe. He will walk around the house but if you try to pick him up, he curls in a ball and hides his face. He likes to lay close to one of his littermates Shellie and he likes fuzzy blankets." We recommend a calm, patient, adult household experienced with little dogs, that can give Sky time to unwind and feel safe.
