Nala is a nine-week-old, eight-pound Border terrier. Nala is good with other dogs, good with mature kids ten and older, and not good with cats. Scruffy puppy Nala stands her ground with other dogs even big ones. A sturdy stubborn terrier she is nearly housetrained (no accidents so far in foster home), needs leash training and loves to play with her brother. She is too interested in cats and barks at them. Her foster writes, “Nala is a sweet playful puppy who loves to play but also loves cuddles. She is very food motivated and will be an easy dog to train.” Medium energy, she would enjoy a secure fenced yard and lots of sociable walks. A great companion for a terrier lover. Puppies could be a commitment of greater than twelve years. Please carefully consider your forward-looking plans prior to applying. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed assessments are based on visual appearances.
