Daisy Duke is a ten-year-old, approximately forty-five-pound, Labrador Retriever. She is good with other dogs, good with mature kids ten and over, and we do not know about cats. Daisy Duke's person is in the military, and she has been posted out of the area. Currently, Daisy Duke is staying with a family member who can't keep her. Her person is desperate to find a home for her much-loved yellow lab Daisy Duke, a healthy, affectionate companion. She will cover expenses including the adoption fee if the applicant passes our screening. She writes: "Daisy is VERY loving and sweet- she loves to cuddle and give kisses, she is very calm inside and house trained but also LOVES outdoor time- so long walks or a fenced yard would be great (but not necessary) She also LOVES car rides and to socialize, you can take her anywhere. She especially enjoys trips to PetSmart and Goodberries Frozen Custard. A perfect companion for a less active or older person or couple! Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention.
