July 2023. “An amazing week in Vernet les Bains. The house is gorgeous, very French charming, well equipped with a large kitchen and panoramic mountain views from every room. Although there are excellent restaurants in the village, we cooked at home a few nights (local produce from the outdoor market) and ate on the balcony watching the sunset. Nearby are Michelin-star restaurants at astoundingly low prices, chateaus with stunning gardens, and wineries. We’ve lived and traveled all over the world, and this ranks among our best vacations!
