Palmer is an eight-year-old, Sixty-eight-pound, Bulldog. Palmer does well with children and other dogs, Palmer does not care for cats. Miss Palmer was a veteran emotional support companion, and now he is disabled to the point he can no longer give Palmer a good quality of life. Palmer is very friendly and could do well as a therapy or service dog for someone else that needs an emotional support dog. When Palmer's adopter was in a nursing home Palmer visited him, and she was a big hit. This loving gal began her life as a breeding dog, and she has no teeth. Palmer has learned how to be a part of a pack in her foster home and loves playing and running after other dogs. Palmer walks well on leash, loves to ride in the car, enjoys visiting people and nursing homes and is very well behaved on outings. Palmer loves to sit on the porch and watch people walk by. Palmer’s true desire is to be with her human wherever they are. Palmer will put her dog bed beside her fosters bed as close as she can get it. Palmer has ongoing skin allergies which respond well to medication. She would be a great companion for a mature couple or person. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org.
